Bought this 04Z 6 weeks ago and added Dynotech headers,H/F cats and X pipe into factory exhaust,C6 Wheels,Procharger,Boost and fuel pressure gauges..painted stripe with the rear facia to match...all thats left is the Shifter which is going in tomorrow.She dynoed at 545 RWHP but he left it a little rich because if you look you will see it was over 99 deg in the shop,,(4 vettes and 2 GTO's before me heated things up)...so in cooler weather it should be making about 560 RWHP...Sure feels like more than that!!!..Whatta ya think????
Here are a few more angles of the stripe,It's 12 in wide with 1/2 in gap and 1/2 in outside stripe..it ended up being about 4 1/2 in. off the edge of the hood all the way across to get the correct angle down the fender to center the air duct.After it was painted it had a couple coats of clear on the whole hood and fenders to keep it shiny and no chips.....I've got the Patent...so don't forget the royalties!!!...
Put in the MGW shifter last weekend in about 45 min. and it works like a Charm!!!..No noise or rattles....I kinda like the Hurst Pistol grip shifters so the Local machine shop tapped this one out to 9/16X18 so it would fit.
The shaft is 1 in. shorter than stock which makes a big difference and you have a positive feel for every gear.
