Hey guys,
I got my car tinted, and when i got it back i was crusing along and just noticed my car passed the 500 break in mile time. So i was running through the gauges, and noticed my oil life was at 99%. Wierd b/c before i dropped it off it was at 93%. I also noticed my radio settings were lost. I had to program the stations back in. SO my question is that they probably disconnected the batt. and reset everything i dont know why i just got tints!? So thats prolly why everything got reset. Now will the computer re learn where the oil life is. I mean i plan to change the oil at 1k anyways but im just wondering. AND when i do change the oil is there anything i should reset? Something i should be concerned about why everything was reset when i was just getting tints? Let me know, just kind of confused

You will need to reset it yourself. Real easy to do. Better get your manual out and give it a little studying.
By the way, the tint looks good !

Check the manual, but I think holding down the reset button for a few seconds will reset the oil life monitor. Of course, you must be on the oil life monitor display mode. It won't reset itself.
OK. Here you go. Turn your key to the on position(car off),hit the trip button till it shows oil %, press the reset button and hold till 100% comes up. Done deal. Now, go get the manual and do a little reading. I know...the Z is so much fun to drive there is no time for reading the owners manual . Lots of good info there.
