This is a great mod! I never have to clean the wheels up and it looks great!

The car does Not need to be lowered but rather its the light grey pebble ground that makes the car look like it could use a lowering....Just an fyi

[/

Today I just washed them up for the first time in months and threw a coat of wax on them...

I love these wheels....Thanks to Baron for selling them to me!

Z06 2001 rims with black powdercoating and polished lip...

BTw..the mothers powerball is a waste of money. I wouldn't buy it again...

Good for other things but not our rims..IMHO

I went with ceramic pads for street use about a year ago. No brake dust, the chromies stay nice, and stopping power is similar to the stock/dusty pads. I run the Carbotec's when I go to a DE event ...

I HIGHLY recommend the ceramic pads!

The chromies and high polished versions are winners too..

I just dig the black with polished lip myself.

Its funny but what was big wheels and tires a few years back are not whats in style now...

I don't care though...I dig these variations on the standard Z06 rims...

The michelin pilot sports are a very impressive tire too..(they came with the rims from Baron when I bought them)

Thanks for the compliments guys and of course all the variations and even the stock rims look sharp on our cars....

I do believe the black with the polished lip on the C6 Z06 would be a great option too..

I had my Z 5 days before I chucked the factory pads in favour of ceramics as well. They stop very nearly as well and throw off almost no dust. I was washing my wheels daily before, now maybe once a week.

Great looking wheels, I never would have thought to put black on the red but it does set it off nicely.

Noel.

Looking good JB, I remember those wheels on Barons car before the HREs. I believe he had CCWs at one time.

Looks great. I am going to get mine done, but think I will go without the machined lip, just all black.

I love my black rims...although I found when they got brake dust on them they looked worse than when the stocks got dust on them. I went with the ceramic pads and never looked back.

Yeah JB my black wheels geting nasty looking too, but I still have the factory setup on mine, I'm thinking of ceramic pads for Deuce when the time comes, and that might be soon, and probably rotors too!
