Has anybody had experience with this dealer?

Fairway Chevrolet in Las Vegas NV. I went there the other day in search of a ZO6 they had two black ones and some others in bound. Wondering if anyone has any useful info on this dealership before I take the plunge. They seemed like pretty good people and treated me pretty good. I also went to Bill Heard chevrolet, they had a Yellow ZO6...................for $7,000 over MSRP. Plus the salseman had no clue and wasn't that helpful. Oh btw they let me drive a black ZO6 at Fairway. Any input is appreciated, as I am new to the forum.

I can't give you any insight there. But I can tell you that I bought a car from a ZO6VETTE.com forum vendor. I got the car outside Atlanta and drove it back home to Dallas.

Lovely Drive! Lovely Price!

Good Luck--Jeff Nation

That's Mr. Rick Daniel from Maxie Price & myself. As you can see, I am happier (on the right). I just got my first Corvette!

I had a great experience buying my 02EB/ModRed from Maroone Chevrolet in Pembroke Pines, FL. Mario Tedde is the man. He also runs corvettelocator.com, which is how we got in contact.

When I picked it up it was highly detailed with two coats of wax and a full tank of premium gas. The paperwork was all done by mail, and when I went to pick it up, it took only 5 minutes to wrap up the deal. I got mine for well below sticker, also.

Maroone has a 4 story parking garage full of cars, and they have about 20 vettes on stock at any time (they used to stock 50 or more before 9/11). They had silver, black, yellow, red and another blue Z06 when I picked mine up in March. The owner doesn't believe in charging over MSRP and he is good friends with their spokesperson Dan Marino. Maroone has a number of dealerships in Florida and so if they don't have what you want in Pembroke Pines, they can find it at one of their other dealerships. Originally I started negotiating on an 02EB/black but it was sold before we got down to brass tacks and then immediately Mario grabbed an 02EB/ModRed from one of their other dealerships. I preferred the modred interior anyway, so it worked out great.

The dealership is near Ft. Lauderdale, FL which is where I stayed. Spending a day or two in Ft. Lauderdale and driving back cross country to Santa Barbara made for a nice little vacation. If you go there, stay at the Marriott near the Cafe Iguana. It is inside a three story mall that has 6 bars on top of each other (including a Hooters), plus there is a cigar store there that is open until 2:30 am!

It was the most stress-free car buying experience I had ever had. I kept pinching myself to see if I was dreaming, but everything worked out great. Give Mario a call! You can find out the number and contact info by going to the GMbuypower.com site.
