Headers destroying front o2 sensors

My '02 recieved a Halltech Stinger and LG Pros with cats also. Stock tune, that's the way the car still sits today. No problems except codes for the cats not functioning properly. I think this may be due to two things... 1. The cats may be wearing out over time... 2. The headers shed so much heat from the exhaust the cats take a long time to warm up. The codes only started showing up after the first year of driving, leaning me towards the cats being the problem.

Other than that, no issues at all.

FWIW, the way I remember it is the front sensors are not crossed, but the rears are... ? That's what I remember anyway.

I have the same set up and am having the same codes but the car runs fine. Can the problem be coming from using the rear sensors on the front. also does somone make a extention for the harness so the front sensors can be used.

I have long tube headers on my 02 Z and immediately after putting on the headers I was getting the 1133 and 1153 codes.

I changed the o2 sensors to new Bosch units about 6 months ago, less than 2000 miles, and I am getting the 1133 and 1153 codes again. Does anyone else go through front o2 sensors this fast or is it just me? The only mods to the engine are the long tubes w/o cats and a Stinger intake.

This is really starting to frustrate me and I am seriously thinking if this is normal that I am going to have to put the stock exhaust back on. The car's acceleration is really "choppy" and not very smooth when these codes are occurring.
