Re: HELP! Electrical ghosts? Keeps stalling

I finally cleaned all the grounds and terminals. They all looked pretty clean to begin with. The problem still persists though. Its actually slowly getting worse to the point where it wont even start

The only thing I can think of is time to put on a scan tool (like a tech 2 ) to try to isolate the problem.

Re: HELP! Electrical ghosts? Keeps stalling

I have been reading this thread for a while now and based on a comment about the turn signals, check to make sure the front and rear turn signal bulbs are seated properly. I know the ones up front can be a pain. Check the rears first and if necessary, remove under body panels in front to gain easier access to turn signals.

Also verify that they are the right bulbs. I had installed bulbs that I thought were correct only to have them flash faster than the originals I pulled out.

It might even be easier to remove the fuses for different functions one at a time to see if you can narrow it down that way.

Any aftermarket items like radio, a steering wheel lock bypass unit, or possibly a disconnected plug to disable 1-4 shifts are other things to consider.

I know how electrical issues on a car can be frustrating and difficult to diagnose.

Re: HELP! Electrical ghosts? Keeps stalling

This sounds like a slightly different set of symptoms, but I thought I would offer up this post where I recently resolved an 'electrical ghost' problem, on a C6 Z06...
2006 C6 Z06 Turns over but won't start, help !

Good luck, keep on trying...

PROBLEM SOLVED!!! Alright guys, after trying everything you guys threw at me I finally gave in and took it to the dealer. I couldn't stand not driving it anymore. I was going through withdrawals. Anyways, it turned out the problem was a highly resistant ignition starter. All is well again, and thank you everyone who tried to help. Happy Thanksgiving!
