You are right my friend-there will be alot of drama.
The Ferrari's by Prodrive have an axe to grind as they feel they should have won last year-they consistently had the faster car and lap times. Ruptured oil line catching fire on the manifold ended their chances late in the race.
The French Viper's continue to get closer and closer. Look out for these guys as the Viper's have demonstrated they have the reliability it takes to complete the 24 grind, pushing the Corvettes hard to the very end.
Also, this year, the Ford Saleen's, will no longer have to comply with engine restrictions due to manufacturing criteria. These guys could come out very very fast. It will be exciting to see what Ford can do at the Sarthe.
Corvette, if it wishes to repeat, will have more worthy competitors than in the two previous years. It will be tough to repeat to say the least.
To tell you the truth, this race has got me so excited, I'm considering flying to Sebring, to see the 24 hrs. of Lemans. It's a dream, and there appears to be no reason to prohibit such a trip.
