This is horrible...(very sad content but, some happy stuff too.)

Yesterday was one of the worst days of my life.

I had to let the ZO6 go.

To make a long story short: I quit a very prosperous job to finish school. I met a very beautiful and intelligent woman. We are now in the family way. The job search was not kind...everyone thinks that I am over-qualified due to my experience and education. I don't see it.

Anyway, I felt it selfish of me to keep the ZO6 with a baby on the way in August. So,

Out with the Sports Model, In with the Family Model.

One day soon I will return to the drivers seat of a monstrously and ludicrously modded future ZO6 but, until then, I will be cruising in the slow lane with the entire family and our luggage.

I will continue to visit the site (as long as JC cools down a bit and starts owning up to his responsibilities ) , there just won't be the same enthusiasm as before. :(

Things will soon be looking up as I will be a father for the first time. I have a feeling the baby will overshadow this current loss. One day I will return and bring into the fold a new generation of Corvette enthusiasts.

Catch ya'll on the flip side.

We all head down our own roads at one time or another.

Best of luck on your new direction and don't forget your second family here.

Uhgg! That's awful. Why didn't you look at a sporty sedan? Mustangs have back seats...

You did the right and responsable thing bro. I see a new Vette in your not so distant future. Good luck with the job search, wife and new born. Treasure your family before your toys.

Sorry to hear you had to make the tough decision to let the Z06 go. But, congrats on marriage and pending fatherhood.
I didn't get my Z06 until my youngest was eight. Your time will come again. Good luck.

Congrats to you and the misses on the good news of having a baby.

I'm sure the unselfishness your displaying by letting the Z go will only bring good fortune(s) to you, and you will be awarded with another one.

In the meantime, give em hell in the slow lane
Nice color choice as well.

I think your story is any but sad........

You've got a wonderful woman and you are also blessed with a child on the way! You're a lucky man.

The Z is an awesome car but that's it just a car. Your family will be with you a lot longer than some bowtie with 405hp.

You've got your priorities in the RIGHT PLACE!
