I am using my GM Mastercard to accumulate a rebate for my new C6 Z06. I believe u get 5% rebate toward any GM car on most purchases. $4,000 may be the limit, but I am not sure. It's not a bad deal, if u pay your balance each month and avoid interest.
Invoice, plus $1,000, minus the rebate is a pretty sweet deal. I have heard of site members who bought at or below invoice.

Last time I checked, the GM Card had a $1,000.00 limit for Corvettes....my card is a year old now....perhaps older cards allowed more $ and are Grandfathered in
Depends how you want to look at it. Either sticker and $35,000 for a 2000 FRC or $5000 off and $30,000 for the 2000. Either way, I saved on sales tax. Plus no tire kickers and nose pickers. That and $678 off with the G.M. card.
I owned the HT outright and the note came to $17,400. With 0%, $483 a month. I`ll keep my cash thanks.
10% over invoice and 2.9% for 5 yrs. This was a year ago last June - pre 9/11 - except APR deal came several months later before I took delivery. The net savings under sticker was about how much the financing will cost - so its' a wash. Another way of looking at it . . . "rent to own" with no overhead.
