I fought the rock, and the ROCK won (accident pics)

Was on my way to the Colorado Avalanche game today and decided to pull into a bank/ATM - when some dipsh%t driver was going out the on the in lane. Had to swerve to avoid him and ended up hitting a large decorative rock. Couldnt have been going over 5MPH because the entry has a pretty severe dip.

After stopping to check out the damage, the lovely driver who was going the friggin wrong way - looks at me like I am crazy and then takes off!

Here are a couple pics of the damage that the ROCK inflicted - I wish I could have gotten my hands on the other driver, he would have looked a lot worse!

Thanks all for the moral support - I know it's "just a car", but it sure does kill me to see the baby all banged up.

JMoSS - I thought the nose was fiberglass also - till today. The front nose piece seems to be all plastic (ABS??).

Don't think my Vararam on that left side is (see 1st pic) working at full capacity anymore

Also have a pretty deep gouge in the wheel - does anyone know if that is repairable? or just better to replace?

I am still in awe over the fact that the rat bastard who caused this whole mess just drove off - FiveOJoe, dont know how you have the patience to deal with these rats everyday - I am afraid that my gun would be empty WAY TOO often..ha ha.

Blake and Mary's car doesn't look so good. Those rocks are hard sometime, glad you're ok. Did you make it to the Av's?

I guess now might be a good time to get those flames put on.

Ted, Sorry Bro.
