I got a track day @ Road Atlanta for Christmas!!!
Is my wife cool or what?
We haven't picked a date yet, but we're leaning towards Feb.9th
I'm going with my friend who has a '99 Camaro SS.
I have two other friends interested also. They both have '02 BMWs. One is a M roadster and the other an M3.
Anyone here planning a track day in Feb. let me know.
We will be coming from Mobile,Al.
I tried this last year and had a great time.
I put over 80 miles on my last car on the track.
I entered in the touring class (no passing).
I saw 3 cars get smacked-up pretty bad in the A&B intermediate groups so I will probably stay in the touring class again this time.
I would recommend going even if you don't put your car on the track. It's like a car show only better because you get to see these awesome cars on the track. There was a Ferrari F40 there last time I went!
Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy! Road Atlanta is a great track, but not too easy to tame.
If you want to see a bunch of Ferraris at Road Atlanta, come back in March when the Ferrari Challenge is held. Usually the same weekend has the British Car show at Chateau Elan, which is 10 minutes from Road Atlanta.
