Installed my Euro Taillights today...

Still can't drive my Z06 yet as it is still %$#@& winter, but it doesn't stop me from working on it. Installed my Euro lights I got from RG @ Exit Motorsports, install was very easy! The amber flashing turn signals look really cool when they are flashing.

The car looks badass! Quick question though, when you hit the turn signal does the whole lens light up or just the clear section? Contemplating picking some up.

Also, did you use lowering bolts or just lowered using the stock bolts? Looks perfect

I had ordered the ambers, but the clears showed up at my door, RG offered to cover all shipping costs and send the right ones, but I said I would keep these. They are growing on me.

Hossman:

Just the clear part lights up when you turn on your turn signal, and it lights up amber. The clear part does not illuminate under normal driving or braking. I bought 7" long bolts from a bolt supply store. Less than $10 bucks. Nice thing about the longer bolts is you get to keep the bushings intact.

I bet that would look pretty cool seeing the 2 little clear spots light up. Bring your car to EDM to show me

Just trying to be a little unique! I went to get you a pic of my car with the turn signal on, but my car is sitting up on my 4 post lift with my wifes car under it. Maybe I will try tomorrow for you.

So yours are red / clear with an amber bulb, versus the
red / amber lens (that I assume uses a clear bulb) correct?

Most vendors quote a higher price for the red/amber, anyone know why?
Thanks

It's called supply and demand, everybody seems to be ordering the red/amber so they jack the price on those ones. I did not realize that the red/clear actually blink orange when the turn signal was on, I was very happily surprsed.

GM makes the lenses and sets the pricing on them. The red/amber are 30 bucks higher per lense to vendors like us.

02blkzo6, Your car looks great and I really like the tail lights. I also have a 02 blk zo6 and have been debating on clear or amber. I didn't realize that they binked orange and would love to see a picture of it when you get a chance. I was leaning toward the amber but I thought the clear would look cool with my OEM chrome wheels. If any one has a picture of a black vette with the amber tail lights I would love to see it.
