Nice!!! Let us know what kind of dyno numbers you get after the install!!! The rest of your car is stock right?? Any intake mods yet??
Hey Guys. Yeah Lerox I will post my dyno numbers in a couple weeks when I get it done. There is a guy just 15 minutes outta the city that has done some amazing tunes on c5 & c6 Z06's. A guy I just met last weekend with an 07 VY Z06 got an tune ( with the shop I'm going to) with a killer bee intake and Kooks LT's, he hit 512 at the wheels. The shop uses EFI live, is that one of the best software programs to use right now?? Anyway I hope I can hit close to 380- 390. We will see. I also have a Shaner S2 TB coming any day now. My intake Lerox is just the zip-tie mod. Thinking about the vararam. My budget is kinda streched as far as it will go for this year after the headers are tuned!! JUB, I can't wait for the sound of music at WOT!!
Congrats! I myself want headers but still deciding between the LG and AR headers. Leaning towards LG from what I have read online(I'm not trying to turn this into a header debate thread). Let me know how you like the fit and finish. Good luck with the numbers!

I have LG headers on my C5 Z06 and AR headers on my C6 Z06. They are both very well made and good looking headers. I guess between the two, I would probably pick the one that I got the best deal on.
I forgot to ask, is there an ideal AFR you should be running at for a performance tune?? Ball park number maybe? Should I get him to cut into my collectors, ( weld in bungs) or use the clip ins on the tail pipes for the wideband .

Inserting the a/f sensor in a bung (before the cats) is a more acurate method of monitoring the a/f ration than the clip ons.
I just got back tonight from my first official ride with my Lg's. Very impressed is all I can say. The deep bark when you whack the throttle sounds mean. Almost sounds like I replaced my stock Ti catback as well!! No leaks anywhere, everything tight and dry. Now for the power feel, even without a tune, I'm giddy like a school girl. Part throttle doesn't feel quite as razor sharp but I'm sure after a tune it will be fine. Not a big deal. At WOT.. WOW is all I can say. The Z06 is starting to feel mildly violent. I like it, I like it a lot!!! Night and day from before the headers that's for sure!! Almost feels like I have more gear in the back!! A huge kick!! Unfortuantely I have to wait till August 22 for a dyno tune.
