Just sold my Yellow 02 Z06 tonight - hated to see it go

Yes, just sold my Z06 and the guy just drove off.

Believe I got an ok deal, no mods, all stock except for mirror covers and radar detector.

Got $35,000 which seems good looking through posts for cars for sell or what others got out of theirs.

Now just waiting a long few months for the new Z.

holy cow batman-great deal!

hey I can totally understand the loss-I would go NUTS if my vette wasn't in the garage or on the track.

I just sold my 72 stingray and it's TOUGH not seeing out there in the garage or driving it to a car show, BUT....I am just gonna stay focused on why I sold it and what my goals are

so next year in a new Z06?

Yes, that's what I tell myself - stay focused on the new Z.
A long wait though and hope that I get mine this year with a high # of 69 through Rick Daniels.

Another dealer offered me #22 on his list with a $2k refundable deposit but I don't believe their volume is anywhere near Stanfords so I'm not going to switch.

That was a good deal! Especially with the mileage.

Ummm...you did tell the new owner about the site...right?

Stick with Rick! He does have allocation.

That's a damned good deal for the seller. That same car is selling all over the country for $3K less.

I also have a MY 02 and it's not going anywhere. If I buy the new Z it will be second or third year. I'll just wait and see how the price holds up. Toward the end of 03 the price really dropped on the C5 Z.
