I'm new to the forum only as I dont have a ZO6 just yet. I am looking at one located in Tomball, Tx. It is supposedly at a location called On Track Auto Sales...It's a Black 02 with 29k miles on it. I think the mileage is a bit much tho. I've been trying to get the VIN number of it but seem to be getting the run around. Supposedly they faxed the info but I have yet to receive anything. I noticed a couple guys here were from that area and was wondering if you guys knew anything about this particular car or place. I'm starting to get a bad feeling as I hate car salesman anyway, but I automatically doubt them no matter what. I will be in the area on Thursday for business and was hoping to do a VIN check before I get over there.
welcome to the forum and if you feel that the sales man is giving you the run around AH WELL! you have a million cars to choose from! texas is a Z filled state i have no doubts that you can find the color you choose with the miles you like.. how much are you looking to spend on the Z? and what mileage is fine with you?
try checking out corvette country in austin...they usually have at least a couple of Z's in stock...www.corvettecountry.com...that's where I got mine...decent prices on most of them...

Well I finally got the VIN # and ran a Car Fax on it. Everything looks good except I dont know if car fax differentiates between Corvettes and ZO6's. It just says Corvette. Maybe you guys can look at the VIN number and tell me if it is indeed a ZO6....1G1YY12S625129844

YY1, we own a dealership and if you look in any NADA book they tell you the distinguishing characters,
Well I pulled the service history for this car from a local Chevy dealer here. It has had its injector's cleaned, and a new battery...thats all. However, the car's new battery was installed in Arizona and the guy lived in Texas. That long distance drive does not necessarily bother me though. Hell, if I owned it and could get time off I'd drive it to California, hehe. I'm going to look at the car tomorrow evening. Is there anything in particular to the Z06 that I should look for (ie. signs of wear, abuse, etc).
