Message from Dave Peacy from General Motors

Dave Peacy asked me to pass this message along.

An open letter to the Corvette community

I just wanted to let everyone in the Corvette community know that I have taken a new position within General Motors and will no longer be the Corvette Brand Quality Manager. I hope that during my time I have answered your questions and provided some help to those of you who have asked. Let me assure you that everyone in the Corvette team here at General Motors values your input, and while we cannot always resolve your concerns we are always working hard to make the right decision for everyone involved. Nine years ago when I took this job someone told me to be careful because Corvette can really get into your blood and I’ve discovered, as many of you have, that this is really true. It’s been a wonderful experience being associated with “The Only Sports Car That Matters” and all of the great people that love it. I’ll miss all the friends I’ve made and hope to stay in touch with as many of you as I can.

Still waving
Dave Peacy

Paul,

thanks for letting us know. Dave really was a big hit at the Fest this past September. I know he had as much of a great time attending the Fest as our members did!

Please send him our regards and Best Wishes in his new position at GM.

Thanks Again,

Les

Maybe he's going to work on those new little cars with the strange names.

Hope the new guy has the patience, passion and understanding of "the only sports car that matters" like Dave did.
