For a performance car, these Z06's get good mpg's! I average 23 and thats with a few "spirited" romps through the gears now and then. Bill

23 to 25 is about right for me too! I have achieved higher on some longer trips when it's highway cruising. Lower when I'm rippin' around town or WOT.

I average right around 21-23.5 mpg depends on the mood I'm in and who's on the road to challenge

Sanford,

I have 3000 on mine and I get what you do.

That's cool, since I do almost no freeway driving.

Average

I average ~17mpg. Once on the toll road, my average speed is um well excessive.

Every traffic light where I'm in front may well be launch practice.

I consider rev limiters a shift reminder. I drove my old 92 Saturn SL2 @ 135(drag limited I think) for >30 minutes.

Needless to say I'm wreckin my average.

In city driving I get 14, 19 w/wife

Talk about wifes..mine complains she can't hear the radio, because of the loud exhaust..so I turn off the radio. The way I drive the vette she gets car sick ( with all the launches from the lights and shifting of the gears and a little WOT thrown in. On long trips to Vegas or Laughlin she thinks she is the govenor and limits my speed to 110 mph. Faster then that she wants out STOP THE CAR etc. Naturally I slow down. Have to think ahead ( no pun intended) to the evening activities. She is getting a new BMW Mini Cooper Supercharged S coupe 6 speed. She is on that web site mini cooper. com. So I quess we both will be stirring up the gears.

I just checked mine 12.7 on this tank so far.
I usually get about 16 when I get some freeway driving mixed in.

I get ~15-17 in town, that's because I am always in the ready gear in case I can show off a little (haha) and the wife isn't in the car. On the highway I get 25, that's because the wife is usally in the car for the highway trips.
