I took my oil and filter to the local WalMart and they change the oil for $5.50. Jiffy Lube makes their money on selling the oil so they don't want you to use theirs.

Maybe once in a blue moon it'll go on sale for $3.99 per quart. I usually pay $5.50 at the local Mobil Station. 6 quarts @ $5.50/quart is muchl less than new piston rings and valve springs.
The price we have to pay for protection. I use Mobil 1 15w50 for my track bike..... I beat the crap out of it.... 90+ degree heat @ a minimum of 9K RPM's all day long...... as long as I have my Mobil 1 15w50 in there.... I'm at ease.
