Last night out of nowhere noticed a large paint can in the middle of the street. Swerved to avoid it but hit some loose gravel near curb a slid into a small tree snapping it in two.
I am thankful I did not get hurt but the front of my car is in BAD shape all because of this stupid debris left in the street. Insurance will cover this but stuck in a rental for 2 weeks.
Best of luck to you. I almost nailed a wooden pallet left on an interstate of all places...Luckily, I swerved in the nick of time thanks to the great handling of the Z06. Saved my ass, but I didn't have to compete with loose gravel.
Sorry to hear about your misfortune. I'm constantly dodging debris on the freeways here in Houston. A car spun next to me the other day trying to dodge a large trash can that was flying across the road. I'm lucky he didn't hit me. Hope the repairs turn out well.

Thanks for all your support guys! This forum rocks and you guys are the reason why.
I have a $500 deductable so that's what I pay the dealer after repairs have been made. I hope they know what their doing. It is a Chevrolet dealer with plenty of vettes so hopefully the have experience.
Sorry but no pictures of the damage. Took it straight to the dealer this morning and didn't have a camera with me. Not sure I want to remember how it looks anyway.
The other thing that sucks is that there was a small dent in one of my rims from the curb and the other one was scraped all the way around. I hope they replace them. Can they be unbent or would they replace them? What about the one that is scraped all the way around, can it be buffed out? How much do stock rims sell for anyway?
