[PICS] SLAMMED on Pfadt Coilovers
I've wanted a slammed Vette on coilovers since I got my first FRC way back in 2000. Now I finally have it... and I can't leave my condo complex because the speedbumps are higher than my rocker panels! :( Never fear, I have ECP rocker savers and fat daddy frame savers on the way. After installing which I plan to ski over my speedbumps and make a scene ever day when I leave for work. Until then, doesn't it look pretty?
These T1s are BIG!!!
And a pair of these are coming soon...
I'd like to thank Steve Doten for the great deal on these and awesome job on the install. Everything setup and installed in his driveway in under 5hrs, very impressive. Honest seller and a good guy to have around.
I also want to give shout-outs to the guys at Pfadt for providing awesome customer service by helping Steve out over the phone with factory install specs, and to c4c5specialist for a perfect alignment as always.
On the drive home the ride quality was better than expected and the car exhibited almost zero body roll or brake dive. Only downside is the rear T1 bushings make a lot of noise. A problem I've read about on here before. My mechanic is going to try a special 3M tape wrapped around the bar under the bushing which he thinks will solve the problem.
I'll play with the shock settings and give a more detailed ride & handling analysis once I get those rocker rails and can leave the house.
