I want nice, classic racing stripes for my Z-06 and can't find them anywhere. Painting is not an option, too costly and too permanent. So, I have teamed up with a local vinyl graphics firm to create a TOP quality stripe patterned after the 2004 Z06-Z16 Option, BUT THESE WILL BE ONE SOLID COLOR! (your choice)
It's going to cost me some money and I thought I could sell some sets to other owners to help defray my development costs (and maybe make a buck or two).
Would you buy this product and what do you think is a fair price? The factory Z16 stripes are about $600-$700!!!
Thanks.

I had thought about doing it but it is not something I would want to try myself. I would want a pro to install. I can't do wall paper and certainly wouldn't want to try decals on my Z.
I don't know where you get your pricing info from but you are far off the mark. I suggest you go to corvetteforum and do a search about stripes there from a forum member who got them done for many people for less than $200 a set. I almost did it but the other half said no....might ignore her though and do it anyway.
Also the factory stripes aren't as expensive as you have suggested either.

I don't see the Z-16 dual stripe being a self install option!
GM has problems with the alignment on the Z-16, how is backyard Joe going to get it right??
I like the GS style single stripe, but I did see one silver Z with dual black stripes that was kick ass!!
I would never put decals on my Z!! Hell, I don't even have Z06 emblems!!
Paint the stripes or forget them!!
If I did want them, I'd want them painted on. But later I'd probably get tired of them like Darwin and want them taken off and I'd be SOL. So, after all that, I voted NO.
