"Service Active Handling" check engine message???

Here's an odd DIC message. I started the drive home yesterday and entered "Competition Mode" after starting the car. I drove about 5 minutes and was jsut cruising in 6th gear when the check engine light came on and "Service Active Handling" or something like that popped up followed by "Reduced Engine Power". The car would barely accelerate so I had to pull off of the road to keep from impeding traffic. I then shut the engine down and gave it a minute before restarting. The check engine light was still no but the car drove normally then. I tried to stop by the Checvy service dept. but missed them by 2 minutes so drove home. After getting home I shut the car down and restarted and the light was gone this time. Has anyone else seen this before? It is a dangerous problem if encountered on the highway or at a stop light because the car barely moves.

This probably isn't much help, but something similar happened to me. I had just started up, turned the wheels to the right and started up. Got the same kind of error. Stopped for a minute ... Restarted, and never happened again. No other problems with it, so far, anyway...

Seems to be a common problem on the Z06. I had the same thing with just 200 miles on it. I hit "reset", turned the ignition off, started the car and never saw it again.

Well I feel a little better knowing it has happened to others but am still a bit perplexed as to why it happened in the first place. Thanks for the heads up guys!
