So - different question. Are people seeing prices below MSRP on 2003's? If so - what?

Deep discounts...

I just completed my shopping on 11/29 and bought a Red Mod Red 2003 Vette in Atlanta...
Shopping around town, $1000, 2000, 3000, 4000, now were starting to thin out the bidders. Okay, $5000, $6000, and finally $6500 off list price. The over supply is enormous. And with zero payments for 90 days, zero down, and zero percent interest for 36 months, you can't go wrong. I had dealers admit, if I wasn't buying in cash, a used 2002 was going to cost me more than a new one.

The last time I was at a dealership, 6 weeks past or so, they were asking $5,000.00 over MSRP. Courtesy Chevrolet, Thousand Oaks, Calif. Go figure!

If a Z06 doesn't scare you airports should be a breeze! Plane flight from CA. to just about any city, a couple hundred bucks, saving over ten grand, and that LONG ride home... priceless

They still do that to a degree here in Dallas. They know that there are a bunch of people around here with more money than they know what to do with. You have to really shop around to get a good deal.

Notice that most websites have you put in your zip code so that they can find the "right deal for your needs"...?

Man, how'd you do that?

Isn't list price something like $47,800?

If so then you got it well below list!

List price on mine was 51,615 later production list at 52,105. Invoice is around 46,000. Every dealer around town was within a 1000 + or -

Best deal I am aware of is $1,000.00 over invoice. I know that several here have gotten that price.

Unless you are budgeted for 996TT, the Z06 will run circles around a 2S or 4S and definitely keep up with a 996TT. Keep the change and take a nice vacation to let's say....the UP of Michigan or Buffalo/Syracuse. Figured you must be in SoCal and get pretty tired of all that sun and warm weather. Head Northeast!

MSRP/List starts around $51,500. $6500 off gets you right at invoice price. The dealer still makes $1500-$2000 selling at invoice - depending on options, incentives etc.

On a regular basis Dallas dealers are running ad's in the local news paper for $6,000 off of MSRP. That makes a good starting point, so if your persistent you can do even better then that.
I did

$4000 under sticker and factory delivered to my local dealership, with courtesy delivery of $400. You don't have to fly to Atlanta to pick it up!
