Go with Headers, no cats and stock Ti muffler, you will love the sound and keep 500.00 plus in your pocket. You can always buy a cat-back system later.

Stay with the Ti (especially if you are going to go catless).

To each his/her own. But IF (big IF) you get caught without cats, you are subjecting yourself to a possible $10,000 fine and imprisonment. Plus, some have said on this site that the exhaust gasses smell "funny" without cats. As much as I'd love to run straight pipes instead of cats, just not worth the risk, IMHO.

You can see from my sig what my preference is. BTW, I chose GHL's because they were reported to have no resonance, whereas the Stingers did noticeably increase resonance, from what has been posted on this site. I can tell you that before my headers and high flow cats, there was no additional resonance in the car after installing the GHL's. I did have a partition by then also. That helped.

From my perspective, unless there is a substantial cost savings with the Stingers, go with the GHL. They are both very good systems, but the drone can get to you pretty quickly.

Good luck.

I loved the Flowmaster system on my blown Stang when I had it and I love the Stingers on the blown Z...but that's me. I ran/run highflow cats and longtubes on both.

Either way Id only go off road no cats. I like the agressive sound and the power you pick up with no cats. 2ndly i had a off road h and mac catback (loud setup) on my cobra and never had problems with police. They kind of expect it from a mustang or corvette .
The gas smells that you get every now and then lets me know the car is running on the rich side. Doesnt bother me, its a smell of a fine performance motor I think i might try the stock catback with headers and off road pipes. If i like the sound ill leave it, if not ill probably go with GHL.

thanx for all the advice guys..
