These Forums are Excellent!!
I have to say these forums (especially this one) are just great! There is no question but that the most useful Corvette information comes from other owners on these forums.
As an example, I mentioned the 2001 LS1/LS6 oil burner issue experienced by some owners (including me) to a friend. I included the experience of forum members (oil monitoring programs, grief involved with rebuilds and in some cases, buyback experience) to my friend, who in turn mentioned this to his brother (a 2001 C5 owner with the oil problem).
Armed with this information, the owner took his 2001 to a dyno shop which provided further evidence of an underperforming sick engine. Then he went to the dealer.
The result; the dealer took his car back and for $1500, he will get a 2002 model. Had it not been for these forums, I doubt if this owner would have so well prepared in order to achieve this outcome.

. Its all this knowlege in one spot that will make the General hopefully keep impoving the Vette by realizing that the owners are becoming more and more aware of every little detail on these cars.
