Thought I'd say "hi"

Noticed there's no Intro section, so I just decided to post a little something something here. My names is Mike (Doba is good) I僧 looking at my options for my next car and the 02' Z06 sure does look promising, my other option was the Nissan 350Z, but reading over a few corvette forums in the last few days its really hard to compare with a Z06 for the price.

I知 looking forward to learn more about the vette, and the LS6 for that matter, normally I知 into import turbo engines not these large V8's. My last car was a 92' 240sx turbo so this is quite the change, so far I知 loving it.

Welcome to the forum. You really need to find someone with a Z and let them take you for a ride. Check the local corvette clubs in your area. Let us know if you do and how long the grin lasted.

If you get the Z you will not regret it. I too came from imports (90 and 94 GSX's, 90 240sx etc etc...) I think those cars are fun and cheap but nothing compared to the Z. It is a different level to me. You will just have to find out what you like best. Someone offered a good piece of advice get a ride in any type of car you're thinking about. It will help you out. Good luck.

Re: Thought I'd say "hi"

Well I’m not bias in any way, just cause I had imports don’t mean its what I’m sticking with, for me I’m into sports cars, I’m a driver its the pleasures between point A and B that I look forward to.

Right now I think the best sports car for ~25K$ is a Z06, looks, performance, power, history, status, its got it all, I’m not about to buy a car for that much money when I know there's something better that suits my needs out there.

Im 29 yrs old, No kids no wife.. thank god :p.. its now or never, well maybe not never cause most of you guys are older :O
