Written up for 85 but she clocked me at 115. Gave me a break B/C I pulled over and waited for her to cross a divided median. I was in a '67 replica Shelby AC Cobra. Didn't matter if I went on, not many on street.

In a '69 Chevy in the Nevada desert, I was going over 150 (speedo was useless, buried in the dash) and was being followed by a small glowing red light in the far distance. After a few minutes I knew I could not win and pulled over and waited.
The officer's first question was why did pull over?, and I replied that I was running out of gas. After he stopped laughing, he wrote me up for 65 in a 55 zone.
My highest mph speeding ticket was 83 in a 70 zone. As far as my top speed goes, I aint telling because my insurance agent watches forums like this, and he already knows about the ticket.

Ok, don't laugh but the highest speed I have the Z up to is about 95.
One B.S. speeding ticket, 37 in a 25.
The wife has the record in her old 911, 105 in a 65. Lucky they didn't take her to jail. What would I tell our daughter about her mom being an "EX-Con"

When I was 16 I got a ticket for a 121 in a 55 driving a Honda Accord. No speeding tickets in the Z but, I've been pulled over twice for "sounding like I was speeding" and once for no front plate...got a ticket for the no front plate. Cost me 12 bucks and a stamp.
