Huy guys...I am interested in trading in the '01 QS for an '03 MY. My '01 has 2035 miles and is FLAWLESS, inside out. No mods, just tinted windows. Anyone have any clue on what I can get for it and how much the '03s are going for?

I ain't gotta clue on the '03s, but you know this is the worst time of year to sell a sports car, even in Texas. Wait a few months (Spring) and sell it yourself, if you can stand the stress and the numbnuts and the tirekickers and the... well, yeah, sometimes it's worth losing a few thousand dollars and just trade the sucker.
But I've got several questions:
- do you like the Z? If so, then why aren't you driving it more?!?!? Good God man, drive it! It's a car!
- Is there a reason to trade besides the color? You know, for the twelve to sixteen thousand dollars that this trade is going to cost you, you could get one helluva custom paint job...
Yellow is great, but it attracts a lot of attention. Woman are constantly coming up to me and hitting on me, men bow before me and scream "I want to be just like you!" on the highway, and it's really very annoying after a while. A nice quiet, subdued color like silver is much better.
I would be SHOCKED if a dealer offered you Even $34k. Your probably talking closer to $30,000 for that car. Remember, a dealer is going to want ot make AT LEAST 10%. I have seen 01' Z06's on Ebay for $32k. KEEP YOUR CAR, no brainer.....

I just got offered 38k for my MY 03 on trade in. But, then I got offered 42k at a Chevy dealership. Still not what I want

$42k trade-in on a used 2003 is pretty good. I know it's a hit, but would be surprised if you could sell it for much more than that yourself right now. Hopefully the market will swing and values will come up for you guys looking to sell.
I'd try to sell it out right cause the dealer isn't going to do you any favors on price! They are going to try to get it as cheap as they can. Good luck on your decision!

It's all about the TOY'S. You ain't having fun until you hit 131
don't know what the trade in value would be, but it seems that pricing varies quite a bit throughtout the country. I know here in California you pay more.
Would like to know why you want to switch to an 03. There have been some improvements to the Z 03 over the Z 01 but they are really only splittin hairs. I'd be more inclined to mod the car for better performance. You get to have it "Your Way".
when i went to see how much they would give me for a trade in for my 01 with 4000 miles they said 35,500..... this was a year ago.... i said forget that and instead bought a procharger for the car

bone stock except for that little F1R procharger bolted in and cartek clutch...
reading your desire for a MY made me think about how I was considering custome painting my Z...the paint jobs on these vettes leads a lot to be desired IMHO-might be another option.
