Tuner Shootout at 160 mph at a real track in Fl with real cars any takers...
To all Tuners including those who are in FL. We will not say names..Yet
We will be testing our car again at Homestead with the Performance Drivers Club ( BPPs street car was the fastest of the day) and are having an open invitation to all top tuners including those from FlORIDA for a little shootout. Talk is cheap come out and prove yourself, your products and machines. This is where we separate the men from the boys. Autocross is for the beginners who need to go slow, hot laps are high speed, pushing the car and driver to the limit. Our background is in Road racing for 10 years both IMSA and SCCA Pro. We again put out an open challenge to all top tuners for a little stroll around the track at lets say 160 mph. One last thing, all those taking the challenge must have high speed experience. Schooling or SCCA Lic.
By the way spectators are invited, please call me for details.
Event 1 Ding Ding... Homestead Miami Speedway May 18, 2002.
Event 2 Ding Ding... Sebring International Raceway Sept 21,2002
Thank You
Ernie

Ernie, this sounds great! I know Mike Coppola with the '99 FRC that has been massaged by Mallet and then "bumped" up to 700 hp with a supercharger WILL DEFINITELY BE THERE! He said something to me last night, like - "Well, Ernie never passed me out there on April 7th."
To answer some of your questions first we have over 55 1st place trophies and held the track record at Moroso for 4 years. If you like you can stop by our office to see some of those trophies. Second, this will be the second time we have ever been to Homestead raceway our home track is Moroso. The car we will be testing is only our 600hp 420ci engine with our custom suspension. I started back in 1983 with autocross solo 1 but was disappointed when I had to wait 3 hours between runs that would last 2 min max. I then went to solo 2 for a little more speed. 1984 was the start of Breathless Performance Racing running Formula Atlantic Series, then For Mitsubishi Motors Factory team in International Sedans, then T/As in GT1. Road Racing is the backbone of Breathless Performance. This challenge is for all tuners and non tuners who would like to have some fun in a high speed event.
Would you like to see Mallet, Lingenfelter, DRM, VBP, Breathless and others run there top cars at high speed against each other? That is why they have Tuner shootouts across the country, except this one is different; we will not be running on a slower pace autocross but at high speed major tracks throughout the country. We never been afraid and never will to push our cars to the limit in order to make our products better. Hopefully some of the other tuners will think the same and attend and race there cars.
By the way this event is open to anyone, we even offer a ride in our cars at speed to those who wish to attend. There would be a slight fee paid to the PDC group but the thrill would be awesome. Please call me for details. There is no entrance fee just mention our companies name. We will have plenty of drinks onboard on us but no food so just pack a lunch.
Looks like we have a Mallet car ready for the challenge who’s next?
