Talk about a sleeper!!....to the less informed anyway. Mercedes is going freakin' crazy with the power...not to mention aftermarket.

I saw a 1996 E220 Diesel (or so I thought) in Lima, OH the other week. The guy opened the hood and revealed that it was an E55 AMG with major RennTech modifications raising it to 580HP! Think about it, it had E220 emblems, E320 wheels, unpainted BSM's, untinted windows, and it was a greenish color. Worlds most impressive sleeper????

Amazing, imagine what that engine would do in a 3100 lb. car?

I think he ran 11.9 with only the computer reprogram. And his Viper ran 152mph in the quarter. He's got some impressive toys.
