Magnuson - Moss Act

If you have a problem with your car and it is under Warranty, ALWAYS take it to the Dealer for Warranty Repair. By doing this you:
- establish a repair history date
- document that you have attempted to have the Dealer correct the problem
- help improve the Brand by contributing to a model's service history.

Remember, a repair made under Warranty extends the warranty service life of that part.

Basically a Dealer can NOT deny a Warranty repair on your car
just because you have installed an aftermarket part. He must PROVE that the part caused the damage.

You are protected by Federal Law, specifically the Magnuson - Moss Act
