Just wondering what you do when you're driving your Z and you see another Z coming in the opposite direction (wave? flash the lights? pop up the lights? wind down the window and scream nice car!?)

Life is tough, but it's tougher when you're stupid...John Wayne.
Si vis pacem, para bellum.
Well, from what I've noticed here in New Jersey, a slight wave is in order! The only thing is......women don't seem to do anything! I don't know if they're driving their boyfriends or husbands car and think they're hot sh*t or what but very few will give you a wave. Only most of the men.
Now, when I'm on my Harley, all the other Harley guys and girls give a slight wave(down by your side or thigh so you look cool....lol). But, the "rice burners" and Harley guys don't like to wave.

In my experience, Vette drivers used to be a lot friendlier towards each other than they are now. I've had plenty just ignore me. I usually try and wave. It's still nothing like when you're on a motorcycle though. The only guys that don't wave are usually guys riding Horribly Datedson's.
In the '60's-'70's, Vetters ALWAYS acknowledged each other. Then, as more boulevardiers bought 'em, less wavin' 'n such. Now, only the hardcore or newbies seem to do it...
I ESPECIALLY like it when the "hardcore" gals "do it"...
....just kiddin'...damn...
Most vette people in my neck of the woods waive though there are very few Z's where I live. The Harley guys are a different stroy around here. I love when I am on my massaged VTX 1800 and I pull up to these so called elite bikes who have riders that never wiave. I waive to them after I blow their pipes off
The "Corvette Wave" is the usual greeting, although in my neck of the woods some of the guys I run into on the road like too give it it just a little bit of gas and let the exhaust pipes sing.

I wave through the windshield since my windows are also tinted. Over the years, the Wave has come and gone. I'm glad it's back--I got tired of waving to myself.
