Re: What's the standard greeting/acknowledgement when seeing another z on the road?

Just a wave. It is discouraging how many don't wave back

I'm pretty hard to miss too

Opposite direction: wave (as long as traffic conditions permit and the other driver is paying attention)
Same direction: thumbs up, open cutouts and rev, nod

Hrm... Why don't I see a wave smilie? We need one!

A simple wave or thumbs up will suffice. Some wave back....some don't.

I also just wave. With the headlights down it's hard to flash the lights. Most people with C5 at least look my direction even if they don't acknowledge me.

I have never initiated a wave. I will usually have my limo tinted windows up and they never see me anyway to even wave.
I personally think the wave is silly but to each his own.

I'm going with the wave! It feels kind of cool to get the wave, makes me feel like I'm part of a club or something, lol.

Re: What's the standard greeting/acknowledgement when seeing another z on the road?

I have been driving a vette for over 30 years. The wave was big 20 years ago. Now people almost never wave. it is sad. They would probably "TEXT" you....but not wave....unless they are an old fart like me....over 50.
