While in Estes Park last weekend, I saw....

a beautiful C5 drive by. I tried to get the car started to chase him down but I couldn't catch him. Stupid rental car was a Dodge Neon. This car was maroon on the top and it smoothed out around the botton and then blended into the sides which were silver. This car was beautiful.

I also saw two EB Z06s there. Pictures don't do this color justice. They are beautiful. One had chrome wheels.

Glad to be back.

Did you stay at The Broadmoor? My parents idea of a vacation these days is going to Estes Park 45 minutes north of their house. I give them flack for it all the time. That is a really pretty area, especially that highway that runs north south through Rocky Mountain State Park. I can't imagine how much more beautiful it was WITH the two EB Z06s!

I drove my Z06 through there last Labor Day.... Drove through the park and back.... It was fun driving the Z06 at 12,500 feet above sea level...

That is one nice park. Linda and I were there a couple of years ago and also saw the Air Force Academy near there I believe.

Norman: There was a sewage treatment plant spill today in Estes. Some 60,000 gallons of shit spilled. About 5,000 gallons dumped into the Big Thompson river. So they closed Lake Estes, and have advised all residents that they should be very careful with their drinking water for the next 2-3 days. Bad deal.

Estes is an awesome place. Took the wife on a cruise last summer over Trail Ridge road. It's through Rocky Mountain National Park, starting in Winter Park, to Grandby/Grand Lake and then over Trail Ridge road and down into Estes Park. It's an incredible drive, but I really wished we'd driven the Expedition so we could have had a better vantage point for sightseeing. The Vette sits so low, that you miss a bunch of the scenery at altitude.

BTW: You guys are spoiled at lower altitudes with our Z06's. Living here at 5500 feet above sea level sucks precious horses away from the ride. Oh well........... I hear people in Hell want ice water, too! I really can't complain, life is good!
