The tremec T56 will be outfitted shortly with Zeroshift technology and should be available by the best tuners in the United States in 2006. They have a corvette C5 testing later this month with this device. There's some huge interest in this innovative technology.
Consider that
After modding your cars for a 200 hp increase..this is the next best mod for acceleration improvement.
TVR a very similiar concept to the american corvette (high hp rwd car) has been able to improve zero to 100mph acceleration by approximately 2 seconds using this transmission over the standard Tremec T5..
it took 200 hp improvement to knock 2 seconds off the zero to 100mph run..
The next 2 second improvment was made by adding zeroshift.
Think about the implications of this device. Still working with a stick shift handle in the center of the car ...
Its coming and its going to be available and distributed by the most admired Corvette tuners throughout the United States..
Get ready to open you wallets guys...cause this device should rock the automotive world.
Anticipate sometime late this summer early fall for the european press to go gaga over this in the latest TVR's.
New production TVR's will carry this device...and retrofit of existing in service TVR's is planned as well.
its a totally mechanical device that utilizes our Tremec tranny's so retrofit to our cars should be easy.
I wouldn't be surprised if GM has this planned for the C6 Z06 second or third year either.
