Not with hardened output shaft (probably a few hundred dollars more)

Yes there is a core charge.

Contact DTE? or cartek and they can give you the low down on pricing and details.

A very cool mod.

fwiw..my gas mileage with my 3.73 seems about the same.

Highway mileage with the six speed is awesome no matter what...if you use sixth gear.

I think 4.10's bump your RPM's up around 500 in 6th gear at 60 mph. If you keep it in 5th on the freeway the RPM's jump up 500 from 1500 to 2k at 60 mph. Out of curiousity I kept it in 5th for a good distance on a flat surface and the MPG dropped from 28 to 25 mpg so you may loose 3mpg on the freeway where it counts. Around town I dont think it will matter as you may possibly have use of 5th gear more with the 4.10's.

The car will pull harder, so if your willing to sacrifice mileage go for it.

Huh?....

I went to a DTE Stage 4 3.73 rear. I'm happy with it. Not too much gear, and still don't have to shift to 5th before the 1/4.

Re: woulld 4.10s be bad idea

4.10 are good for the 1/4 mile and fine on the street. I've run them for a while now. Most road race guys say they are a bit too steep and many go with 3.42's or 3.73 but that's not my bag.
