Z06 for a Daily Driver?

Thanks for the welcome folks.

Got a question though.
Is there anyone else here besides myself that does the unthinkable and drives their Z06 daily?
I mean, 'you can't take it with you' is my philosophy.

My suv hasn't seen 10 miles in 2 months since I got this car
The only downside I have seen so far is the brake dust on the front rims.
Anybody got a set of black powder coated Z06 wheels for sale?

Daily driver here... about 16K miles/year. I bought the car to drive it, not put it in a museum. Dust isn't on there for more than a few days. I try and wash it weekly.

Ceramic pads will cure the dust, sure beats cleaning the wheels every couple of miles.

My car is not a daily but it does see it's usage. I'm about 1k per month right now but hey, you spent all of that money, don't feel guilty about driving the car. That's what you bought it for.

Raybestos Quiet Stop pads....work as good as stock with much less dust. Mine was a daily driver for the year I owned it. Best car Ive ever owned. Unfortuantely Im poor and had to sell it. Hopin to get another one in a few years. If youre gonna pay that much money for a car, you should drive it and enjoy it every day. It may get a few chips and scratches, but hell, its only a Chevy

Daily driver here. I put about 19k miles on the first year I had it. But that's because it was my first manual car, so I did lots of practice, and plus when I got it everyone made me take them everywhere in it. So I did tons of driving when I first got it. This next year should be way less miles. Especially since we added an ION Red Line to the family so we'll be taking that when we can to keep the miles down on the Z.

Daily Driver here also. Put 18k on it in the last year.

Corvette's are very comfortable daily drivers, compared to other high-end cars. If it wasn't for cargo space, I would never drive anything else.

Drive the car to enjoy it! I would just worry about snow. (No snow here in Fla) At the end of the day when you get rid of the car it will not be worth that much less with the extra miles!

Daily driver here also. There are a lot of Garage Queen Vettes in Oz and a lot of guys are surprised when any vette is driven daily.

FWIW: a Z06 is a brilliant daily driver. I actually look forward to the drive!

I drive mine when the weather is good.....and I am not going to have to park in a questionable place.......otherwise, I jump in the Infiniti QX4.

Daily driver 20k+/year, I have a van but can't stay out of the Z when the weather is nice! The only thing I would have done different in the first year is some kind of protection for the paint behind the wheels. Even when the roads look clear up here there is stuff on them that seems to blast at the paint.

I not only drove my 02 as my daily driver, but used it as my business car. I loved getting behind the wheel of that car. It was a pleasure to drive every day. I put 43,000 miles on it in 3 years. Now I'm using my new one in the same capacity.
