Try Scott Montgomery at Stanford Chevy in Dearborn, Michigan. Drove by there yesterday and saw about 60-70 new Vets on the lot. Tell Scott Zippy sent 'ya and see what Z06 price you can get...If you buy one from Scott, I will split my referral fee 50/50 with you. 1-800-699-VETT or email at vetteking@aol.com
Good luck, and like others have said, DO NOT Pay above sticker for a Z06.
Contact Ken at the VetteNet. You'll find him listed under the supporting dealers section on the Corvette Forum. Z06's are also listed in the for sale section of the Corvette Forum fairly regularly.

Wow...lots of replies!! Thanks for all your help, I'm much more confident knowing that people sell them at msrp...I'll pursue some of these leads and see what I find...Wish me luck!!
I found one at MSRP at the FOX Dealership in Laurel, MD. (They were marked up $5k-$10k on the window) But what killed them is that www.autoweb.com gave me an internet ad for all my local dealers that quoted a free year of scheduled maintenance and $200 off MSRP for any car ordered from that dealership.
The ad did not exclude any cars so I went in with the ad and said I wanted to order a corvette and would they honor the ad.
They said they would but asked why I didn't want to buy from stock. ...Duh, okay I'll take the Z06 for the ad price. I feel pretty good about getting it at MSRP and lucky that they had one in stock.

I have been calling all over for 2 weeks to find a Z06.
Many dealers are asking over sticker but you can buy most anywhere at sticker.
I called one dealer yesterday who had a red Z06 that was $57,000. I said I would not pay over sticker for one. The salesman instantly said "well I think we can let this one go for sticker". You don't have to pay over sticker for one, just be firm. Now if you want a yellow one, that is another story.
Very hard to find and way over sticker even for used ones. Good luck!
I'm a new Z06 owner as of Friday. I bought mine at Coastal Chevrolet in Kitty Hawk, NC for MSRP minus $2000. The dealers in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia wanted as much as $10,000 over MSRP. I took great pleasure in bragging to them what a great deal I received. Now maybe they will get realistic and sell at MSRP or below.
