Z06 vs Lightning

I will let you know in about 6 months or so, I am planning to send my new convertible to Mallett for their new 700 hp package which is a special 435 motor that is supercharged, should run pretty well.

The L was my only experience with boost. It was just there. All the time. The Z06 is totally different. It's like it just explodes.

If **** can take a stock motor, give you 360/440 and a 36 month bumper to bumper warranty, I would think that our premium grade componentry would hold up just as well... Comments???

I know what you mean. I had a heavily modified GTP which was running 15 psi. While it didn't have the power of a Ligtning as soon as you hit the gas you were being pushed in the seat and it didn't let up.

In the Z it is more progressive but once you hit that 3500 rpm range hold on!

Observation Only:

I'm not looking to get flamed, so don't take this personal, but I sure miss that 440ft/lbs at 3500 all the way up till the computer shut off the gas.

The Z06 simply explodes, the Lightning sort of just mashed you into the seat...

Do you think our drive lines would stay together in supercharged trim?

I saw a lightnig run mid 13's at the tract with an exhaust and a chip, its funny how Fords truck is fatser than their Mustang , with the exception of the Corbra R, but then again , how many Corbra R's are you gonna see on the street anyway.
