Z06 wheels different each year?

I know that the rims seem to have changed color in the 03's. Has anything else changed? Im in the market for a set and would like the darker version(if there is such a thing)..

Anyone know?

The 01 wheels are a silver color, while the 02's are a darker gray. I believe the 03 wheels are the same as the 02's.

The 2001 and early 2002 Zs had grey lug nut covers that matched the color of the wheel. Then, early 2002 production, the lug covers were deleted and a more chromed, 1-piece, lug nut was used - without the plastic cover. I am not aware that the actual color used to paint the wheel changed. I'm sure there's probably some dye lot differences, but I think they are all supposed to be the same color grey (from 2001-2003).

I agree with prescott63. I have a set of 2003 rims on my car, a spare rim from an end of year 2002, and a 2001 rim left over from previous car. 2001 is darker grey, while the 2002/2003 are identical and lighter grey than the 2001. difference is slight though.
