Well, I think we'll have to resked due lack of interest. Most locals are probably out of town or not reading the site lately. We can do it some other time, hopefully before the cold and wet weather sets in.

It's been well over a year since our last Z06 meet at Alice's Restaurant. About a dozen SF Bay Area Z06 owners showed up on a weekday for that gathering. How about another this weekend? Hopefully, more Z06 owners will be able to make it this time.
Kind of short notice but Labor Day Weekend present as good as any time to meet again. Let's plan on this Sunday, August 31st, starting at 11:00 am till around 1pm for brunch at Alice's located at the junction of scenic Skyline Blvd and Highway 84. For you first timers, Alice's is about half way between Redwood City and the Coast in San Mateo County. I suspect the weather will be just about perfect for a drive through the forest to get there. Too bad we can't take the top off of our Zs.
Afterwards if there is enough interest, we can caravan over to the Coast for possible photo op overlooking the Pacific. Anybody have a Z06VETTE.com banner and a digital camera they can bring along for the occasion?
Please reply to this post (publicly) so we have an idea how many people are planning to attend. If we get let's say at least 10 cars signed up by this time Saturday night, IT'S A DEFINITE GO!!!
Hope to see everyone there this Sunday. Significant others invited too! Spread the word. Should be a good time for all. :cheers

CHief OB (ex chief) was a movie star and loved every minute of it! Damn near pulled every out of towner over so he could hear, "aren't you chief OB?". Then let em off with a warning.
74pantera, no idea. I thought we'd talk it over at Alice's and just let the majority rule. Unfortunately, there has been very few of us "signing up" so far. As I said in my first post, if we don't have
at least 10 Zs, I will be inclined to reschedule. It's only been one
day since I proposed the meet - we'll see by tomorrow if more people are coming. I'll make a final post by this time Saturday night if it's a go or not. STAY TUNED.

Ok, I'm tuned in
If the event/brunch doesn't materialize, pick a date in the future and I'll be there. We've got some nice weather ahead of us so there is still time for some spirited driving, especially up Mt. Hamilton
Now, if I can figure a way to get the surf board in the Z, I'm all set for a run to the coast!
