Drive & Dine

Summers here, the Sun is out; time for a cruise.

Sunday, August 1st.

Meet at the I-5 rest area north of Exit 206 a couple miles north of Marysville by 10:00 A.M. for a 10:15 departure sharp.

Out the country roads thru Silvana, Stanwood, Conway, skirting LaConner to Edison, Bow then up thru Chukanaut Drive to Fairhaven. Down I-5 to Alger then 99 to Cook Rd. for lunch (or somewhere) pressing on to Mt. Vernon, thru Burlington to Sedro Whooly. South past Big Lake thru Arlington with a refreshment stop at Shotze's.

All Vettes invited.

Pat

If there is not much interest, or if you want to do it again, how about August 15th? There would be more time to get the word out.

Knowing that its impossible to pick a weekend that suits everyone and that there are other Vette events almost every weekend during the summer, it gets down to having to go with what you've got.

I always encourage folks to post up things they might like to do as well, as I'm sure others have ideas better than mine.

Without hearing from anyone else its looking like around 5 cars so far.

For those that are in to NASCAR, we will be viewing the most likely site for their upcoming northwest track as well.

I was asking Will and the guys if anyone had heard from you. Thought maybe you moved back to Texas and got married. Or got married and moved back to Texas.

Will posted the link to the Hooters gathering for next Saturday. It will be primarily Corvette Forum guys but everyone welcome.

Anyone else here planning on going to the Hooters event next weekend? I'd probably go if others from here do... the other forums event tend to be less fun, different crowd.
