Rose City Corvette Club Track Day Is History

The Club really put on a great show at Portland Raceway (PIR) this weekend with Autocross on Sunday and the Road Course on Monday. They had a host of other events as well which began on Friday evening.

Eighty cars were on hand for the running of the road course and it was great.

Brian (Zee Freak), Harry (4vettes), David (TheRave) and four or five other Zs were on hand.

I was able to introduce the Forum to two of the Zs present.

David (The Rave) was again my instructor and showed me the best line (although I wasn't always on it) around the course. Thanks David.

The Club will be doing this again in October. I'm sure Brian or Harry will post the dates, etc..

Give it a try. Not a Race but lots of fun. Just your car, your speed and your comfort level.

After I figured out my ABS problem (thanks Dave).

The car ran good in the last two sessions, and it didnt break again.

Pat, if you decide to come down in October, be sure to run in the intermediate group...you're not a "Novice" anymore....I don't think you ever were anyway!!
