FEAR THE MIATA
I put a couple ideas together, let me know what you think. (Not much happening around here yet)
According to KIRO and KOMO the weather on Sunday may be a little better than Saturday. "Sunday will partly cloudy and a little warmer than Saturday with highs near 60. Rain chance increases late."
So, how about we meet up Sunday (18th) at Canyons in Redmond for an lunch, say 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. They are located in Redmond center at 15740 Redmond Way, Redmond, WA, 98052 (425) 556-1390.
For those that wanted to do some driving also, we could depart Canyons around 1:00 PM and cruise to the Museum of Flight located in Seattle (25 miles away). They are currently having an "Aerospace Today and Tomorrow Exhibition" and a "Banned Booty Art Exhibition" They are open from 10:00 to 5:00, admission is $11.00 and parking is free.
Next for those that wanted to continue on, Sunday is also the last day of the Puyallup Spring Fair. They are open from 10:00 to 7:00 PM, admission is $8.00 and parking is free. The fair is about 30 miles south in Puyallup, WA.
Mufflerbearing, I may have to drive my car up tomorrow in it's dirty condition also. It would be awesome to finally get a chance to see and hear your killer ride!
I will leave Federal Way at around 10:30 AM tomorrow if any southerners want to meet up for the drive north.
Corvette184 - If you stay out of boost maybe I will be able to keep up
I have made reservations for 12 to 14 of us at Canyons Redmond from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM.
If anyone arrives before I do, simply talk to the Manager - Jerome and let him know you are there for the Corvette Gathering reserved under my name (Perry Lewand).
Parking - Apparently there is a great area of 12 to 14 spaces right along Redmond Way on one side of the restaurant that we can take. They will not reserve it for us per say, but since we will be there early enough we should be able to commender it
Canyons Redmond is located 1 mile west of the Highway 520 and Redmond Way interchange. It is next to Staples and QFC in the Redmond Center.
