Why does the map show OK in the Midwest yet the description of the Southwest Region shows OK in it?

Because the SW region has been trying to get rid of OK for years and the MidWest doesn't want them either.

Originally we put Oklahoma in the southwest region but we received so many letters and call from southwesterners who disavowed having Oklahoma in their region and threatened to march on Washington.

We appealed to the folks in the Midwest to allow us to include Oklahoma there but we received death threats and promises of unlimited spam if we took that option.

We didn't want to offend people who lived in Oklahoma, especially after the entire population (both residents) sent us pies and cookies so here it stays.

You guys are brutal. Ever heard of the Oklahoma City Thunder? As I recall they played for the NBA Championship last year. How about the Oklahoma Sooners, my alma mater? Does seven national titles in football sound familiar? Hey at least here in the heart of our country us Okies believe in the right to carry your Bible and your gun!

And then there is Montana in the North Central on the Map except there is no North Central Regional Forum. I know my place and I carry.

Sounds like less than half of the record of a great team, but it would still rank as the #2 school here

Bama is definately the team to beat for a while. Quite a dynasty they have right now! Reminds me of when I was a kid and Barry Switzer was leading the Sooners to three national titles in the 70's and 80's. My Dad is in Arkansas and SEC all the way. Hard to argue with him these days. The Big 12 took a hurting when Texas A&M switched. We both went down to them this year and they are only going to get better...
