Problems at Speedworld?

We would appreciate any/all comments regarding your experiences at Speedworld over the past 12 months. If you have experienced problems with the track, the staff, the facility itself, etc. let us know. Whatever comes to mind, say it! Don't hold anything back, just let it fly. You won't hurt anyone's feelings.

Addiitionally, if you would like to see changes at the facility, make a prioritized list with your response to this post. We truly appreciate all of those that will take a few minutes and provide us with some insight to any problems that need to be addressed.

Please note: RPM Group is not affiliated or associated with Speedworld Dragstrip.

Thanks for your help!

Re: Problems at Speedworld?

I race there all the time and I could prolly offer some constructive criticism, but I'm curious who RPM group is and why you want this kind of feedback if you're not affiliated or associated with the track.

Those of us who will be attending the Winterfest will have some comments for you after Saturday March 2nd. I have only been there once which was during last years Winterfest when we shared the track with the Scottsdale Exotic Car Club. Track seemed to be well run and the food available was decent and the rest rooms were clean. Personally I would have liked to see better track prep, but like track rentals I have been part of at other dragstrips, management seems to be pretty cheap with the VHT. Hope this helps.

You might want to pay particular attention to the first line in that link...

Re: Problems at Speedworld?

I've been to speed world twice and the both times I was there, the track seemed to run pretty good. One time, the track prep was good and the other time is was not so good. With every track, more track prep is better than less. The restrooms were ok and so was the food. My one complait was all the dirt I had to drive through. Other than that, it's a nice track!

Re: Problems at Speedworld?

If the track prep was better i would go more. Very Dangerous at times but others very good! Major problem is the small stones all over the site! They do damage to cars and are always in the staging lanes!
