Just read the rules for the for sale section that you have to have 25 posts to post a for sale item. I understand the logic.....however, I was gonna post a wanted to buy thread and can't. Just doesn't seem right somehow to me, I'm looking to buy from a member and I think that sort of thread should be allowed. Just my 2 cents, I'm done ranting.

We're very careful about where our "stuff" goes. We don't sell to just anyone.
Seriously, sometimes we have gotten folks come on here "phishing" for stuff right off the bat. Sometimes it turned out to be a scam. Just looking out for the good guys here.
too many spammers out there.. we had lots of problems in the past..

Hey, Rain ... there's a special provision for Fest veterans.
You get one post credit for being at the Fest, one for having a black car, and two for being an active service member.

I agree someone please help this young man. He was at the fest, did the WART, he passed all the tests. He is deploying AGAIN to Iraq. Please change this guys post count so he can buy/sell.

First of all, the post count requirement is automated and doesn't allow a poster to start a thread in that section prior to 25 posts (that should be going up to 50 or 100 posts soon).
Also, a new member can buy anything he/she wants here, they just can't start a thread in that section. Perhaps new members will be able to take a closer look at the 'For Sale' section for existing sales to find the cars/parts that they need.
This guy's post count should be reduced for not pertaining to the issue. Just kidding Gary!!! Glad you back buddy.

I'm sure we can get you something together.....Jimbo is great people and wouldn't leave you hanging. What size DR's did you grab?? I hope they are 16 or 17 for real nice drag use. The 18 are okay though, but with your power, you're gonna want some sidewall flex while launching.
Might benefit if you could find a drag pack, 16" CCW is one, with ET Streets.
