Recently Key Words In My Posts And In My Responses Have Been Appearing As Green Highlighted And Double Underlined Links.
I Did Not Install These Links Nor Did I Authorize These Links Nor Do I Endorse Where They Are Linked To.
I Think This Is A Great Disservice To Supporting Vendors And This Policy Should Be Stopprd Immediately. These Posts Lead To Many Vendors Who Do Not Support This Site And Even Have No Relationship Or Relevancve To A Corvette Or This Site.
I Respectfully Ask That These Links Be Removed From My Posts And Not Be Inserted Suruptitiously Into My Posts.
I Find It Ironic That Many References And Links To Non Supporting Vendors, Even For Informational Purposes And Even When Non Competing With Supporting Vendors Are Diligently Purged, The Links Are Removed And The Offending Members Scolded And Chastized.....then A Link Is Inserted Into Someones Post Without Their Knowledge Or Authorization.
WHY WOULD I EVER WANT TO FOLLOW A LINK TO EBAY TO PURCHASE A PART FOR A YUGO FROM A NONSUPPORTING VENDOR ???
Stop This At Once Or I Will No Longer Support This Site!!

if it is linking to someone.. they would be a paying vendor.. this is common practice on lots of sites.. they dont direct to just any ol vendor.. LOL . .someone is getting paid..
the new owner is upgrading and doing alot here.. he is going to make a buck or 2 ... i don't have a problem with it.
we will get used to the changes.

virginyfotomike,
there has been a announcement on the front top page for 24 hours.
I think Don's concerns are from the point of view of a forum supporter, not as a user... So changing your CP preferences would not address any part of the complaint.

Geoff, I understand Don's concerns and I moved the thread to this section because I think the site owners keep a fairly close watch here. They will probably respond in due time.
Like I said previously, I really don't know anything about it other the ekools post.
Mike
btw Don, only links and contact info to non supporting vendors are removed or edited, not references to those same vendors.
sorry for jumping the gun regarding the Bluff comment.
It's just hard to take the gamer out of me.
God Bless, Latrell.
