I know this has probably been beat into the ground but can't find much in search...When I want to post pics I go to MANAGE ATTACHMENTS and all it will let me post is Mickey Mouse size 100 KB thumbnails..........I see very large pics all the time 600X800 or so being posted.
I have alot of pics on Photobucket and each pic gives me 4 different links to attach HTML,Direct link,JPEG link with [MIG] etc....I tried posting each one in the message itself and in MANAGE ATTACHMENTS but that doesn't work either (too large)...I'm already a premium member do I have to be a GOLD Platinum to post larger pics...Or am I doing something wrong....I like to post pics and this is frustrating...

Re: Posting pics...I know!!!
Understand and relate to your frustration. I have dozens of pics from recent travels and can't post any of them either. Tried photobucket, infanview, HP photo function, kodak easy share. Downsize, resize, upload, download, yada yada, every time it comes back with error messages!

Dave, upload any photos you want to post to the Concours section. Then copy and past to any threads you desire. If the pics are too big, they will automatically be downsized to the maximum site sizing.
I haven't used the attachments feature personally, but I think it was designed primarily to show the thumbnails in a post.
I hear ya! I haven't been able to post a picture here ever!!! It is the most difficult site. Go figure it's the site I'm on most!!! Other sites are intuititve and simple for some of us who aren't so computer savey!
Thanks Mike....I finally found a post that said Concours had been changed to photo gallery in the left column..(There is no Concours)That makes it easier..It's pretty simple when you get there...just upload any pic you have on your computer or elswhere into members gallery and then copy& paste the Urrl the one with [IMG] in front into your message...it will auto resize to 300X225..Which is still smaller than the thumbnails....but easier to use...Maybe somebody will share how they get there 800X600 images to post....It makes a big difference in detail ...Oh Yea..In the photo gallery after you have uploaded your pics click "NO" where it asks you if you want to upload as set...anybody have any problem IM me I'll try to help

Dave, you are right of course. Concours has had its name changed to Gallery. My bad...
Glad you figured it out. It's really not that difficult to post pics here. It just requires some uploading.

I'll admit I'm no computer genius but it is more difficult here. I've tried several times and gave up. Just your biased opinion. I even saw Zippy had problems w/ pictures here.

It's really not that difficult, bro. Go to the gallery, upload whatever pics you want to from your cpu, click on the pic (once it's uploaded) to enlarge it, copy the pic properties line and paste it in your pic using the 'image' tag.
Next thing you know, there's your pic in your post!

Re: Posting pics...I know!!!
OK, I downsized pics from VIR to 640x480 pixels. Best as I can tell this is smal pic, right? So I try again to post the pic. Again this message comes back: "Sorry Zip: Bad File-No file or File is too large or of the Wrong MIME type."
Sorry, seamus2154: Bad File - No File or File is too Large or of the Wrong MIME Type Well Mike I tried now what?? I went to the gallery hit upload browsed to my cpu then click select on pic titled it then continued to this message.
