That pic was taken at the NCM during one of their annual events. Someone fro GM arranged to have the tranporter loaded with Blue Vettes then parked at the Musem. Since I had an EB Z06 at the time, I purposely parked it in the background and asked Dave Peacy if he'd do a banner shot with me.
He said, "sure why not."
(Dave was the quality manager at Corvette during that time. Super nice guy!
That was, I believe, the NCM 7th Anniversary in Sep 2001. I was there, climbed on the trailer, and pointed out the EB Z that I lusted for ... my wife took a pic ... I'll see if I can find it ... but then I found out Mike Siska already had that color so I had to get Silver ...
The following Tuesday I was back at work in the Pentagon ... Sep 11 ... hence my sig ...
